Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. She's the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. In this role she was able to work with national producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her first job was as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. In 2009, she relocated into Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In the same role on the magazine program of the network Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. Then, they moved to Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 the 22nd of November, 1985. She has a sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. She divorced her parents shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she married a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. The holiday in the summer that she lived with her sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta is a senior in high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she was looking for. When she was deciding whether Mount Union would be a good fit for her Antonietta went to visit the campus. The campus was stunning and offered the degree she sought. After finishing high school, she made the decision to enroll at the university with a major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for a number of years, was an acquaintance. Her professor urged her to be confident and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
